What a handsome son you have:) Do you feel old??? :)
Sorry I haven't been around lately to spam you with my comments (lol), I've read, just not commented.
Thank you for the words you wrote to me. Your comments really are special to me because I know how hard it can be for you to be serious sometimes. Seriously, I appreciate you:)
With that said, you must be really old to have a son who just graduated:) But then...um...mine will graduate in 5 years...that's really not that far away...that means I'm getting old...oh no...my guy turns 13 tomorrow...what happened to him wearing diapers...or sucking on binkies...or...now he just wants to be grown and out of my house...
Congrats to JM! What a handsome young man. If your getting old, according to God's girl, then I am the old ancient one. Look at it as your getting wiser, and you have reached a milestone in your son's life!!
GG- It is a strange feeling, having an adult for your child. But Actually, I don't feel any older than I did 2 days ago. But in 5 years, you and I will both be going through it, (2nd time for me). Gotta go take my afternoon nap now....where is my cane?
Marla-Thanks. I do feel like I have learned a lot from this. Hopefully it will all come in handy when the next one graduates!
Blase- I agree. Definitely movie star material. Maybe I'm a bit biased? nah
GG- Your fine. lol. Don't worry.
CK- Yes, I must admit. He does look very much like his dad. He's pretty psyched about the whole thing, (not the looking like his dad, but the graduating thing). He couldn't believe the checks that have been coming in the mail.....Wouldn't be surprised if he tries to buy some announcements again next year and resends them out again next June. lol JK.
Ok, I remember you babysitting him too. Good thing I reminded you not to let him drink the shampoo. Otherwise I'm just SURE you would have let him. haha.
And yes, wasn't her dress beautiful. And it cost less for her to buy the dress than it did for him to rent the tux!
Everyone- Yes, I have to agree with you all. I think he is incredibly handsome too. OK, not sure if you all said "incredibly". but he is....again....maybe I am just a wee bit biased.
I was wondering about the mischief part. Maybe being in a green cap and gown had something to do with it....
Prom shots are so classic! I love JM with the teal next to the pink car. (My girls and I saw him driving last week; CJ was more excited to find out where you lived than about the pink car.)
Congrats, JM! What a long road!! It's sweet at the end, though, isn't it?! Oh, the places you'll go....Dr. Seuss is right!
Congrats!! Did you take a deep breath? I know you are very proud but Are you more relieved than sad, or more sad than relieved? .... Lovely couple by the way...
Visiting with caution today...as this makes a momma of two young boys a little nervous to be treading in unknown territory...and I am SO not ready to go there...I have to start with Kindergrarten in the Fall!
I am not the most consistent person you will ever know. I might write my own blogs...I might not. I tend to say too much and then regret it so if I do write, hopefully I'll re-read what I've written and then delete most of it. I Love Jesus.I am trying to reach the point in my life where I remember to "give it to God". Sometimes, I forget that he is in charge and then I try to do it myself. So far the results should be proof enough that I need to let him take over. I'm working on it with help from a few special people.
I am a firefighter and an EMT, and of course I am an adrenalin junkie. I am more focused and work best under stressful situations.
I have 2 kids whom I adore. They are boys ages 12 and 17. They are proof that I don't ALWAYS work best under stressful situations!! But, we'll be fine.
I have tons of respect for our military and our country.
My Blog title is Monkey's Are Funny...ok, they really aren't that funny but that's what my sister and I say when my ADHD kicks in. (long story)
Also, I tend to ramble....

LOOK OUT Movie Stars...heeeeere comes the new Cary Grant, all graduated and all.
LOL Marla
Note to Heaven: Open mouth, insert foot, learn to be wiser!
Wow, he looks great. (and I love his girlfriend's dress too). He looks so much like his daddy, I think.
What a great time. I hope he is enjoying every minute!
I remember babysitting him - and I didn't even let him drink the shampoo. ;-)

Congrats! Good lookin' kids, tiny waist on that girl!
Graduations are such a relief. Graduation open houses- when it's your kid's, that's a different story. Checks in the mail are pretty sweet, too.
I only have one ungraduated child left. *sigh*
Heidi
I love that boy and his pink car.
