Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a Special Guest!!!!
Who was the coolest secret agent of the 1960's? (That right. Doesn't that make you feel old)!
It was Agent 86 of course!
Whether he was talking into his shoe, using a phone booth as an elevator or having secret conferences with a mailbox, Maxwell Smart was the Coolest of Cool. This clip is from season one, which first aired in 1965!! (directed by Mel brooks and Buck Henry...that explains alot!)
BUT, we ALL know who kept him so cool. Agent 99 of course! Oh Max....!

I loved that show! :-)
Remember Himey?
Who didn't love Maxwell Smart? I was so disappointed when the new movie came out, "Get Smart". Not funny at all. Older is better in this case. : )
CK- I had forgotten about him until you reminded me. Too Cool!
Yoo Hoo- They really shouldn't try to make movies out of old classic tv shows. RARELY works!!
I loved Get Smart. He had a mobile phone long before they were invented. LOL.
It was a funny show! It does bring back memories.
I liked Get Smart- maybe I'm too young to know better.
I'm going to try to re-set my comment thing, My ADHD ME, just for you, so you don't have to be annoyed any longer w/all that typing of secret codes and such.
Heidi
I did like that show, too. But, the opening/closing with those doors freaked me out a little bit. For some reason, that part just wasn't funny. Maybe it was just the opening, when he suddenly vanishes. I think that gave me some elevator fear....
It was the age of the Don's. Adams did this show and Knotts was doing some good Disney movies at the time. I used to get the confused. Again, though, I'm not sure how that was possible--so different!
Himey....oh, my! I loved when Don Adams played a role opposite himself, too.
