Today is Tuesday. You Know What That Means

Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a Special Guest!

This is probably one of my favorite commercials.
This guy is the picture of pure bliss.

Can't you just see me doing this.......

WAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

And, yes, if I could transpose your face with that guy's, and add your boys, that would be quite the scene! (Of course, one would secretly be smiling, if not outwardly, as he's done with this scene!)

I just said the other day that "Back to school" has become the retailers' holiday before Halloween (which comes directly before Christmas, of course!).

On another note, our bell choir is going to learn "Most wonderful time" for our Christmas concerts this year. Looking forward to some fun!

When you come here, you just feel the urge to comment tangentially.

I love that commercial and I don't know why considering that I homeschool and "back to school" has a whole different meaning for me. Sometimes I'm more like the kids than the parent in that commercial.

Yes, I could so see you doing that, if you haven't already done it! Are you sure they didn't see you doing it sometime and get the idea for the commercial?

WHY do those kids not look happy? I was always so excited to shop for new notebooks!

I like Sue's word......tangentially.....it is a good word. And so true.

I'm guessing they should have used you for this commercial. I wonder how much he got paid to act like that??

still laughing.......

My favorite commercial too. I love when he rides the shopping cart at the end of the commercial!!

Of course MY kids are acting like the guy in the commercial. They CANNOT WAIT to go to school. And that makes me happy. So we're all running around & riding on shopping cards here.

Tangential - Of, relating to, or moving along or in the direction of a tangent. I think Sue said you keep going off on rabbit trails and we all hop along behind you without thinking. :-)

I had to watch it twice. If that were me in the commercial, my kids would be saying "MOM, stop embarassing me!"

Hahaha! You are a kook! A very funny kook! And I'm so glad!

I don't know any kids that age that would look that sad to go back to school. My first thought was that the dad was embarrassing them. Then I figured it out. Takes me a minute sometimes. And this is the first time I've seen this commercial. Has something to do with not watching tv I suspect.

Enjoy your school days!

Sue J- ok, I'm off to get my dictionary.

CK- Oh good, now I don't need to get my dictionary.

Sue J- WAHAHAHA!

Also, I need to make it a point to hear you playing the bells this year.
(in person, not just on CK's blog)

And, ALAS, CK reminded me yesterday that my "big alone day" may not be alone as one of mine IS smiling......and believe me, it is outwardly!

That commercial has your name written all over it. I could be in that one too. :)

Come visit me. Your sister thinks you hijacked my blog. I don't think it's as good as your posts though.
