Today Is Tuesday. You Know What That Means

Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a special guest!

It seems that lately I am just not getting around to writing posts. When I do sit down to write, I think about all of my blog friends and the fact that I don't visit you all like I used to. Then I end up hopping around and trying to catch up on your blogs and then the next thing you know, it's Tuesday again and I haven't posted all week.

I have decided that I am going to catch up on reading all of your posts, and stop, TEMPORARILY, writing my own. I'll still be around, reading posts, leaving comments, and checking here in case anyone has a message for me. I just won't be posting for a while.

Also, I'll be having a minor surgery on my foot this Thursday and after that I have decided to go ahead and have the surgery that is needed for my back. It is a pretty drastic move but my back is only getting worse and it is at a point that when I get up in the mornings, it takes a few hours before I can hardly move or stand up straight. After a few hours and a few Vicoden, I can get around a bit and take care of the things I need to do. Then, I end up staying up WAY too late because I dread going to bed and knowing that when I wake up the cycle will start all over again. Even in the afternoons and evenings it hurts. Just not so bad that I can't function.

I actually have an appointment with the doctor today to get the ball rolling. But again, I need to get through the smaller surgery, this Thursday, first. I'll post and let you know what's up, so don't take me off of your blog roll.

Oh, and you can't get rid of me that easily. There is no doubt that I will be back writing my deep, intellectual, and inspiring posts before too long. I'll be stopping by your posts more now so that I can get caught up with you all.

So join me now with the Von Trapp Family Children, The Mickey Mouse Club and a special quick message from Arnold.....
Cause Tuesday is Guest Star Day!

You better not leave us for good!

Hope your docs can fix you up and get you moving again.

Tell the DOCS that God is watching over you. And you will be back. I'm sure. Be blessed young sister.

A triple-play! Outstanding!!

I hope you all like non-Ramen pasta as much as Ramen pasta, because I'm preparing a tray full for you. Alberquando will be able to help in the kitchen, I hope.

And, I know the back thing is scary, but I'm glad that you have decided to go forward with it. I know how much your heart aches to be more than just there. Know that you are surrounded by many--close and not-so-close--who will be praying your way to complete healing!

See you Thursday....

WV: gramencl (I trust you'll be writing rough drafts of your WV book while you're in recovery....) I think Laverne and Shirley used to say this on their show, didn't they? Gramencl, Gramoncl.... we're gonna make it....

You better be back! Will miss you but you need to take care of you.

I'm praying for both surgeries to go well and bring relief.

Wish I was there to help you out but I know you will be well cared for by family and good friends.

I really should watch The Sound of Music one of these days. :)

Love you my friend! But I didn't say that! :)

So sorry you are having a hard time, Praying for you! You should feel better after your back surgery but it might take awhile-don't be discouraged. Be sure to take your muscle relaxers and obey the rules and walk some daily:)! Walking after the back surgery is very important so be sure your foot surgery is fully healed before you let them do your back:). I am not as bossy a nurse as the above makes me sound.:) Are you having a discectomy? fusion? A neuro doc or ortho doc?

I followed a link over here from Samurai's Dojo and I've enjoyed myself reading some of your past posts. I've never been diagnosed, but after raising two kids with ADD, I'm pretty sure I have it, too. So, does the hubby. It's made life "interesting" at times. Anyway, I really identified with some of the stuff I read. Hope you're coming back.

I've been away from blogging for quite a while and stopped by to check on you. Hope you are recovering quickly.

Just popping over to say "hi" and that you are missed in blogland!

Thank you for being, rather than seeming to be, a friend.

Hey my friend! I'm so glad you popped over and filled me in on what's going on. I have been thinking about you and praying for you. I will increase the prayers now that I have some details. I'm SO sorry for the pain you're in. You are such a trooper.

I haven't been blogging much at all either since I started working again. Did I tell you I got a job outside the home? Would much rather stay home but alas, the bills gotta get paid. Well, only if I want a place to live, and food to eat, and... you know. :)

My boss has ADHD and big hair and it makes me think of you. LOL!!

I think my oldest granddaughter has ADHD too. My daughter is supposed to get her tested but she has lots of symptoms.

Gotta run now. I'm still working my graphics business and I have work to do. Keep in touch when you can.

Love ya!

Thinking of you, so stopping in for a quick hello. Hope your pain is easing. Hubby's back went out (as they say, even though I know it goes nowhere), so plenty of pain around here lately.

I haven't been blogging much- too much heart pain. Not the ticker, that's fine- just the too much love and hard to let go thing I've been fighting for months now.

Hope you'll be back soon. Or pop over to my blog for a quick hello.
