Random Thoughts

Random thoughts. I can't help but laugh as I write that title. Isn't that what 95% of all my posts should be titled? (By the way FYI- Did you know that 87.3% of all statistics are made up on the spot?)

Anyway....OK, randomness....

1.I'm still sitting here from last night. I'm just a WEE bit sore and cannot move...... JK

2. One day I'm going to get my HTML to end up in the right place ...well, maybe. I won't hold my breath.

3. Would som
eone please come over and clean out all the clutter that has accumulated around here?

4. The last day of school is June 12. That is exactly 16 days, 23 hours, 48 minutes and 19 seconds from this writing, 18 seconds.....17.....16.....15.....14.....*sigh* (note the school bus on my header. I have a love hate relationship with it. Love it in the AM...not so much in the PM.)

5. I'm tired. I have been looking for a Tuesday guest star song to say how tired I am but the only one I can find is the one from the movie Blazing Saddles, where Madeline Khan sings about how tired she is. If yo
u've seen it, you know that it really wouldn't be in the best of taste. But she is so tired

6. Monkeys Really AREN'T That Funny.

7. About 3 months ago, we made a huge investment. We started a vending machine business. Bought 5 very nice machines that hold
over 400 items...including canned drinks, bottled drinks, chips, snacks, desserts, and entrees. It's called the Office Deli.

8. I'll take walking into a 900 degree, fully engulfed with flames, smoke filled building over working with family any day!!

9. Intentional randomness doesn't come as naturally as plain old randomness.

10. Where's the Beef?

Your HTML is showing. LOL! (Edie, please come into her layout and hit the return key 4 times, to move that thing down.)

My favorite part is the photo under working with family. LOL!

This is like my Caffeinated Randomness on Friday, only I was caffeinated with coffee, and you are with diet coke. (That was random!)

I had to laugh at the title and I agree, but I love all your randomness. Makes me feel right at home, as in within my own mind.

Any time anyone mentions Blazing Saddles I can only remember one scene. The farting scene. Too funny!

It's so precious of your dear sister to 1) point out your mistake, and 2) have a solution to fix it! What a sweetie! She loves you, she really, really loves you.

I love all your random pictures with all your random thoughts. Are you sitting in my living room with me? Because I could have listed many of those (except the blazing fire thing, because that would make me a little uncomfortable- okay, a lot uncomfortable)

There's no place like home...
There's no place like home...
There's no place like home...
(That was random)

The one that concerns me the most is your change in position on the whole monkey thing?!?! Should I be concerned?

Sounds like you need an Office Deli next to wherever your body is right now.

And, I like your thoughts on randomness. You can't force'll end up with constipated randomness, and that ain't pretty. (Man, talk about random thoughts....yikes!)

Randomness: the last day of school here was May 22. Except of course for the Selfless Senior, whose last day was May 4. Since May 22, the xBox 360 has been on in my house for approximately 1293 hours....I hear the Halo theme in my dreams...

CK- I KNOW, It's always showing. I hope I don't get arrested for indecent exposure!!

Bonita- I LOVE it when people say things that seem out of character!

GG- My dear sister is always there for me to point out my she's also always there with possible solutions.

On Purpose- Read the comic strip on my header. Monkey's are Funny is actually just one of those randoms things that I say when I lose my train of thought. Years ago CK found that comic strip. It was SO me that it become my motto..oh no, you know I have to say it.... What's a motto? Nothin'. What's a motto whi chu?

Sue J- Constipated Randomness...scary! And actually, the last thing I need is an office deli next to me. My house has turned into a convenience store. There are snacks, drinks and candy bars everywhere. Luckily I'm not that into chocolate, but I could drink our entire inventory of diet coke if I'm not careful. ACTUALLY, CHANGING DIRECTIONS...If I put the office deli in the house, then maybe I couldn't help myself to anything any time I wanted it. Hhmmm...something to ponder.

A&OX4- With us it's PS2, Wii, and computer games. Oh, and the never ending, "Could I "borrow" a few dollars (which means about 10) for gas money?"

Hopefully the beef's not in the vending machine. Unless it's a well-refrigerated one!

I'll take your random over my posted experience any time!

I was 16 when I took my first real girlfriend to see Blazing Saddles. I didn't know what to expect and I didn't realize it was rated R.

When the movie got to the seen where the cowboys started farting because of the girlfriend got offended and pouted like a..well...a 16 y/o.

I broke up with her within a year and didn't date anyone for almost 5 years.

Yeah, I can understand how throwing yourself in a fire of some sort would be better than working with family members.

Keep it real, Darlin'....keep it real. I like that about you.

I'm concerned about this sudden switch in monkey perspective.

1. Thought about you sitting at your computer calling out for help today. Hmmm, mental telepathy?

2. Kelly beat me to it! LOL. And I was so impressed that your html didn't show in your last post. What I can't figure out is how you keep making it show. You must be going into the HTML section. Didn't Kelly tell you not to do that? LOL! I can fix it for you if you want me to but honestly I think it's cute. LOL!

3. I'll clean your clutter if you clean mine.

4. I AM the school bus! Come to think of it, I have that same love/hate relationship. haha!

6. I agree.

7. I would gain so much weight and go broke trying to keep the inventory to stock them.

8. Ouch! Tough call.

9. I love your randomness, intentional or random. :)

10. Just above your html.

It's always so refreshing over here. :)

Very funny!

And I loved the comment about the therapist of your children years down the road waiting for you, expecting you!

You have a home your kids will love coming back visit! (I might scare you if I say to live)

I hate to admit it but when you said you were so tired, the first thing that popped into my head was "tired of being admired...tired of love uninspired". Sorry I was a huge Madeline Kann fan.

Yes what Kelly said: lay off the caffeen.

I loved this post. I call them ramblings over on my blog... and they are becoming much more frequent.

I had to laugh at a couple of your points... the monkeys, the school bus lave/hate relationship/ and the not liking to work with family. LOL

Okay, I've now read your entire profile page and a whole lot of your blog stuff. I kept getting drawn further and further in until I began to wonder if it was really me I was reading about. My daughter's friend's mother assured me last Saturday night that I am, in fact, very ADD or ADHD (can't remember which one she was so sure of at the moment). So, now I know how to explain 95% of all my quirks. Also, my daughter loves monkeys. All signs certainly that I am to be your newest follower.

LOL! Whether you like it or not, it seems you will always be remembered as the firefighter who thinks monkeys ARE funny. LOL!

So, how is the vending machine business going?
