Today Is Tuesday. You Know What That Means....

Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a special guest!!

You know the drill...

Wiggle your ears,
Like good mousekateers,
Cause Tuesday is Guest Star Day!!!!!!

This is like the freecreditreport.com commercial of the 1970's.
Everyone wanted to be a Pepper.....even those of us that didn't like Dr Pepper!!MyADHDMe

They are trading half empty bottles of dr pepper back and forth. That just grosses me out. Aren't they concerned about germs?

hehehe.

Did you do this in honor of the man who thinks he has a book with the ancient Dr. Pepper formula and is going to auction it off for a mere $50,000-75,000?

And did Kelly never drink after a friend of hers when she was a kid?

My ADHD Me said...

Mocha--I didn't know about the book.

As for CK, I don't remember if she drank after anyone as a kid...but if I had to bet on it, I'd say NO.

As for me, well, I'd probably even drink after the guy in the commercial.

I don't remember if I shared drinks, but I think I did swap ABC gum a time or too. ABC? Already Been Chewed. Oh yuck.

"Oh I want to be a pepper too"

It's great they got Popeye in there. Out with the spinach and in with the Dr. Pepper!

From the commercial, I would totally grasp the idea that Dr. Pepper would make me strong, cute, not afraid of germs:), popular, and friends with Popeye...

Yep...

BTW CK- I think swapping gum would have more germs than slurping from someone else's drink. You poor girl...traumatized...oh...so...much...

ADHDme- Maybe next Tuesday, CK should be your next guest and you can interview her and pick her brain on why she's got the germ thing going on:) We could all totally counsel her:)

**off Topic**

Minivans are cool. My mini van has seat heaters and a rear view camera for backing up.

What could be cooler than that?

As for God's girl - one word:
BACKWASH. BLAH!

My ADHD Me said...

CK- You're right. Backwash is MUCH worse than the spit and tooth decay (food remnants) absorbed into ABC gum. lol

I'm not sure which was bigger for David Naughton--"Makin' It" or the Dr. Pepper commercials. He may even have had himself his own 70s variety show back in the day.

I am not a Pepper.

Pepperidge Farm, OK.

Makin' it...I've got the chance I'm takin' it. No more, no more fakin' it. This time in life I'm makin' it. Whoa-whoa-whoa!

Makin' it--Non stop!
Makin' it--To the top!

They just don't write quality lyrics like these anymore....

Sue is such a wealth of information. Better than Wikipedia!

I never realized how important Dr. Pepper was to me until it became nearly unavailable.

I am willing to make the trek to a British grocery store that imports from the UK in order to pay 75 cents a can....but it is soooooo worth it.

sigh...an American Werewolf, second only in foxiness factor to David Cassidy, slurping down Dr. Pepper...original nectar of the gods....and wearing Angel's Flight pants, I'd wager! sigh....
But you can't forget that your bologna had a first name, it's o-s-c-a-r and your bologna had a 2nd name, it's m-a-y-e-r and you loved to eat it every day, and if we asked you why you'd say, "cuz Oscar Mayer has a way with b-o-l-o-g-n-a!"

I'd rather chew ABC gum while waiting to be served at Ruth's Chris and have 'Dr. Pepper David' as my waiter skipping around turning into a werewolf.....than to have ANY association with a Mini Van.

I am really a cherry coke girl. But , hey I like to be a pepper every once in awhile.

I used to be a Pepper, big time. I was totally addicted to Dr Pepper. Now I almost never drink any soda.

I used to be a pepper until I quit drinking soda.

Remember this one:
Fat kids,
Skinny kids,
Kids who climb on rocks,

Tough kids,
Sissy kids,
Even kids with chicken pox love hot dogs...Armour hot dogs... the dogs kids love to bite.

Hey, I thought of you this morning wnen I got this word in a word verification box: "fanzck". It sounded like something you could define for me.

Is that why I like those free credit report commercials? because it reminds me of my childhood? I remember when I learned to play all those songs on the piano......sigh.....I wonder if I still have that book?....
