Today Is Tuesday. You Know What That Means!

Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a Special Guest!

Today, August 18th, is a very important day.

1st of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIGI!!! (my niece and Chatty Kelly's daughter).
2nd it was my Grandmother's birthday.
3rd, on August 18, 1920, women achieved the right to vote with the August 18, 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment.

So wiggle your ears.
Like good Mouskateers.
Cause Tuesday is Guest Star Day!!!!

"Though we adore men individually, we agree that as a group they're rather stupid."

They just don't write good lyrics like that anymore. LOL!!!!

Thanks for the shoutout! I showed Gigi & she was thrilled.

One of my favorite movies of all time. I would've been right in line with those Sister Suffrogettes or however you spell it, if I'd lived back then!

Happy Birthday Gigi! Does Gigi have a blog?

Your name drew me to visit your blog. As an Ozarks farm chick, I tend to be just a little spastic. I too leave the TV running for the background noise as I am happiest doing ...OH...six or seven things at once. Yep, this chick is happiest when all the balls are in the air. I truly enjoyed my read through your blog. Have a wonderfully productive day.

We have had this movie on TIVO for months now!! I really need to see it again, because I don't remember this part at all.

The only other suffragette song I know is David Bowie's "Suffragette City," which has a way more rockin' beat that this Broadway tune. Well....then again, there was "Sufferin' 'til Suffrage," which was part of the Schoolhouse Rock series (History Rock).

An appropriate song for a day to honor special women!!

(And the bananas are molding on my blog, so I need to tend to that soon....)

I came over for Simply Today. But I guess you accidentally posted that, then drafted it again. LOL! I did the same thing today! Book review coming tomorrow.
