Today is Tuesday. You Know What That Means....

Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a special guest!

When this movie came out I went to the theater and saw it about 4 times. I bought the record (not cassette or CD) and played it over and over and over and over, writing down all the words to every song in a notebook. (yes, I was in high school)

I LOVED John Travolta. His posters covered my Fonzie ones....however No One covered Clark Gable.

SO, in the spirit of summer vacation just beginning here in Virginia....awella, wella, wella, ump!

(I love the way the guy and girl each explain the same experience in such opposite ways.)
(Oh yeah, ET....this is one even a youngster like you will remember!)

I loved this one. I really love High School Musical however, because it is the G rated Grease. All the fun, none of the "R" rating material.

I love John Travolta too - especially in his white suit (Staying Alive).

Ah, Grease, the original High School Musical. I loved it when I was in high school. ButI would never let my kids watch it today!! LOL

I'm with CK on today's HSM. Surprising that they actually have a "purer" version today!

But oh, it had some great songs!!

Would you believe I never watched this all the way through until my Cupcake played Sandy in her senior year last year? Of course, she was better than Olivia Newton-John. ; )

My husband swears there was a flying car.....I don't remember a flying car at the end.....flying? really?
Loved the pics of your dad by the way.

Forgive me if I've said this before, but...

When we first had a VCR in our house--a borrowed one from my dad's college where he was teaching--we only had two videos (really crummy copies, too, by the way). One was Star Wars. The other was Grease. We watched them over and over and over and over.......

But, times have changed, and, it's true, CJ isn't going to watch this one this afternoon. As it is, when you tell her Grease is about two teens dating, she gives you the "Ewwwwww......"
