It's Already Tuesday. You Know What That Means!

Wow. I have lost track of what day of the week it is. Summer does that to me sometimes.

Today is a little later than usual but it's still Tuesday.
You know what that means!
We're gonna have a special guest!!!

On yesterday's post I talked about a car accident in which the car was upside down and the victim was still buckled up. If she hadn't been wearing her seat belt, I don't think she would have survived.

So today's guest star is a PSA (Public Service Announcement) from the 1970's.

Have a great day....And don't forget to buckle up!!

(Is that Sgt Joe Friday doing the narration?)

I buckle up. :)

Hey I just opened up your blog using Firefox and the layout is all whacked out like you described it to me when I did your makeover. I'm going to go back to IE and see what happens.

We have to fix this!!! :)

It looks right from IE. Hmmm, what to do?

In the 1970s we didn't wear 'em. We kids layed around all over the car when we went on long trips, up on the ledge in the back window, on the floor, hanging our feet out the window etc. I shudder now at the thought.

It took my dad for. ever. before he would wear one, later, in the 1990s, he started, I think. We told him he couldn't take the grandkids anywhere unless he would promise to buckle them in and himself, too.

We wouldn't dream of not buckling in now.

The sad part is I remember that commercial and the woman saying "they wrinkle my dress" I used to tell my mother that when she wouldn't buckly up. :) What you afraid it will wrinkle your dress.
