Look Ma...No Cavities!!

Went to the dentist yesterday for a check up and cleaning.
No Cavities!!
I do need to go back next week to get a chipped tooth repaired but that is pretty typical for me---tooth grinder!!

It could be worse.
Today I am thankful for that tank of Nitros at my dentist's office.
As I am just a TINY bit high strung....well....let's just say it is better for everyone involved that they keep the gas turned all the way up to bring me down to Normal.

I am the same way and I hate going to the dentist. I hate the pain, I hate the sounds, I hate the pleading and begging(I am so sorry I do that) and I mostly hate the bills. If it were free and they would agree to put me out, I would go every week.

That gas really should be available to the public:)

OH. MY. WORD. Even seeing a photo of you at the dentist gives me the willies. Does that tell you how I feel about the dentist?

I have to take the girls next week. They are supposed to give RJ2 her first X-rays. Can they take X-rays with Nitros going?

You really do look very relaxed!

I asked the dental hygenist to take the pic. She laughed....they are used to me.

Nitros for x-rays???? Can't hurt to ask!!

I get really nervous at the dentist too and for some reason it gets worse every year.

Hey I went to the dentist to have a chipped tooth repaired and my bite has been off ever since. Grrr.

Glad you don't have any cavities!

Can't believe you asked them to take your picture. LOL. What bloggers won't do for a good picture to blog about. :)

HEY PEOPLE!!!! BE NICE!!!! DENTISTS HAVE FEELINGS, TOO!

Did you know that Dentists have one of the highest suicide rates among professions? Because they hear how everyone HATES to come see them, how they HURT them, how MUCH it costs....etc!!

In case you haven't caught on - I work in a dental office LOL! Dentistry REALLY has changed greatly in the last decade. So, if you're still going to someone who hurts, you should find a new dentist.

Just so Barb knows, I enjoy going to the dentist and love that fresh just cleaned feeling. I like my dentist too. So there. :-)

I really like the lamp handle covers and gloves and maskes, germaphobe that I am. It just seems so sterile there - I love that in a place! :-)

I LOVE my Dentist. One of my first few posts is even titled I Love My Dentist. He's very funny AND he has that nice big tank of Nitros...maybe that's why he's so funny!f

My dentist in the states had glasses (more like full on helmet) so you could watch TV/movies while you were getting work done.

I just hate how the dentist's always want to carry on coversations. I would rather just wring my hands in silence, if it's ok with them...

I like the dentist better than the GYN

I am terrified of the dentist! Well not the dentist himself but the things that dentists do! I wish my dentist had the gas. I can't sit still in the chair, I move up, up and up if he has to drill. He has to tell me to get back down in the chair. I have alot of work that needs done. I am not brave at the dentist, I would rather give birth to a 10lb baby!
