The only good thoughts of McDonalds I have are memories from before I was 10. No wonder they market to the little ones. Once you get the keys, it's over!

Shouldn't that be: You deserve a break today so get up and run away from Mcdonalds? I could tell you stories but they can be told about any food place. :) Loved the flash back. But why is that guy waiving a dirty broom in the air in the kitchen? Haha

I was thinking what Greg said about the broom. Then I was thinking "if they step on the counter top at the top, I'm gagging." Luckily they jumped over it.

Finally, isn't that Sgt. Rizzo from MASH in the commercial? I think there were several TV actors in that one!!!

Wow! That "image" sure didn't stick, did it??!!
Try as I might, I just can't pair "squeaky clean" and "McDonalds" in the same thought.
But it was good for a laugh. I can always count on you ADHD. *grin*

BTW, do you really have a Barry Manilow CD? You're cooler than I thought!

Wow. Someone needs to send that to McD's corporate office.

How things have changed!

Can I get a napkin please!!??
Haha!

I think you need to have Dick Van Dyke as a special guest.

I Love Dick Van Dyke too!

Yes, I DO have a Barry Manilow CD and I even listen to it occasionally! (don't tell anyone).

Yes, You MAY have a napkin....since you said "Please!".

CK- some of those guys did look familiar.

Thanks for the napkin!

You know, I really don't have a problem with Mickey Ds. I like their fries. But there are only two things I ever get when I go.
Chicken McNuggets or Filet O Fish.
That's right, and I always order milk to go with it.

I remember this spot so well. And I remember that we never ate at McDonald's nearly enough for my longings....ah, the good old days!

Then, many, many, many years later. moved to Illinois and not far from the corporate offices of McDonald's. My husband's office was right near there; he used to go over to eat. (And they serve up things at corporate that you can't get anywhere else. That's how we learned about the grilled cheese sandwich. CJ loved those, but they were only available at select restaurants in the area. Sigh!)

Now, of course, we can ONLY eat at McDonald's on the road, because the girls don't like the fries anywhere else. (more sighing!)

Finally, (I think).... Barry Manilow wrote that jingle. It was on his live album....is that what Irritable Mother was referring to? He wrote quite a few jingles back in the day. Now he's a lecturer for American Idol contestants. (Whaaa???)

Well (I knew I wouldn't be done)....I was hoping you would have pulled out Lily Tomlin's operator to make those phone calls for you. One ringy-dingy.....Two ringy-dingies......
