The Return of The Dreaded WVB

It seems like the spammers have been out more lately. Because of that, we are encountering more and more of The Dreaded WVB..........Word Verification Box.

As I have mentioned in the past, we should not look at these scrambled letters as an inconvenience, but rather as a wonderful way to enrich our vocabularies. I have learned quite a few new and useful words because of the WVB

For example...
ah yes..
one day I said it to me girl, and now me girls me wife.
POW!
And a LOVELY thing she is too.
SHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

opps sorry

Monkeys are Funny,

ANYWAY, as I was saying......Here are some more of the words I have learned thanks to The Dreaded WVB.

1. belyros- when you eat too much food and your stomach grows.
"Last night I ate so much dinner that my belyros 2 inches!"

2. antly- the way your mother's sister acts if she is from the north. Down here in the
south they act auntly.

3. cyclint- A cyclops morphed with Clint Eastwood. Go ahead. Make my day!

4. galgab- what we women do when we sit down to chat.

5. jarslism- the study of jars.

6. poman- opposite of rich man.

7. swelyal- another southern word. What one says in the south when things are good.
"We're doin' swelyal.

8. deadlyn- What we have when Lyn passed away. Poor Lyn.

9. adamal- Your dog, cat, a bear, tiger or other mammal. But I hab a cold and by dose is
stopped up.

10. billiat- When you cannot find Billy. "Where's billiat?"

11. milyc. What one kid says to another when they are sharing a lollypop and it is his turn.

12. gralfepi- I have no idea. But I love the sound of it when I say it out loud.

That's all for today!
CHOW! (mein)

You are hilarious.

Why don't you make this a regular feature on your blog? It's so funny! I think of you all the time when I encounter strange ones and would love to send them your way to see what definition you would give them. Maybe you could ask all of your readers to start sending you the weird ones and you could regularly post your dictionary of definitions. Purty please!

I thought this one was odd the other day: agoat. I believe I can figure that one out on my own.

So, does this mean I should put my WVB back on? Because I do believe you were the one who convinced me to turn it off. :)

As for Lost and t.v. in general. I thought I was missing something, but the more I think about it, the more I realize- I wasn't.

And now, I see, I must go type tlifein to leave you this comment.

Stop bye and pick up your medal and honorary promotion. Your jocularity tickles me greatly.

KW-I believe this is the first time in my entire life that someone told me that my jocularity tickled them greatly...or at all for that matter.

Bonita- I'm working on it. I think this was my 3rd post of the Dreaded WVB. I keep a little notebook to write down the ones that strike me....they don't actually strike me. It's not like they actually get up and hit me. I just see humor in them and the "jocularity tickles me greatly".

2 thinks- Yes, I do believe I was the one that talked you into dropping the WVB. And I still stick by that...at least I will as soon as my stalker spammer friend finds someone else to bug.

CK- ouch. Gralfepi. Of course they are all ouch. Maybe the bear's name was Fepi, as he may have been from Fepiburg. Anyway, he was on your nerves so you poked him and yelled "Gralfepi!"...right before he charged towards you. You should really never poke a bear.

Linda-Who me??

Adamal...With everything that's going around, you couldn't have picked or explained a better one. And, since I'm from Jersey originally, I know all about antly behaviors.

I agree with Bonita. I totally think there's a book in the making here.

Here's my word below this box: 'hymedi', which is a funny production with actors who perform over your head (or actors who perform after inhaling too much of the wrong thing!)

Thanks.a.lot!!!
Now my husband and daughter think I am TOTALLY nuts.
I'm sitting here reading this post out loud, with fits of laughter between WVB entries, and they're looking at me with wide eyes and concerned faces. LOL!

You would be great with a game we play over holidays. We call it the Dictionary Game, and just make up goofy definitions for real words. I can tell you've got the knack by what you came up with here. LOVE IT!

Did you know they are remaking the We are the World Song?!?! Once it's released, you'll have to showcase the video here.

I've had to put this verifier on also. The spammers are relentless it seems. Sheesh. I'm glad you can laugh about it. My word is hespon. This is not a halfspoon, it's less than that. My recipes always turn out inconsistently and its because of my use of hespons. )
