Monkey's might be funny...but you my friend...

Otherwise known as a blog fog.

Edie said...

Blog fog.. LOL.

I have to tell you that I woke up this morning praying for you. Think "bubbles".
Love ya even when you're quiet! ;)
NOTE: I said *even* NOT *especially*! :D

Edie said...

Here's you RQ's for the day! Or maybe the moment.

Q. What do you call a Monkey in a tree?

Q. What do you call a Monkey in a garden?

Bonita said...

Love it! I can so relate!

Sue J. said...

Why always 'A,' 'B,' and 'C'? Do you think the other letters get annoyed when the first three always get the front view? I'm sure 'D' and 'E' are on the faces we can't see, and poor old 'F' is flat on its face!

It's OK to have writer's block. Just think of it as the "pause that refreshes," Ms. Trivia Buff.

I like the "think bubbles" thing. I will even blow you some.

Thanks for not blocking me...God just loves you a lot no matter what you think He thinks.

As far as the writer's block, hey, it's not like we are all expecting some amazingly funny, hilarious post that will keep us commenting for like 43 comments or anything!?!? Just be "you" and don't try so hard:)

Signing off...(for the sake of Edie)...yes, I was born with the name Heaven...and for everyone else...no, my parents weren't hippies or even religious then...Hmmm... God definitely had a hand in that one.

I know there's privacy rules in your job but I would love to hear some of your stories of people you've helped. You have such an amazing job. Just a thought. Maybe you could fictionalize the details. Maybe it will turn into a novel! Writers block to a novel all in one day. LOL

Edie said...

I posted an RQ especially for you today. I know it's not Friday but that's ok.

This is in addition to the RQs I put here in your chat room which no one has tried to answer. These are EASY ones for goodness sake. Not Pete's sake cause I don't know Pete. Not that I don't care about Pete's sake for goodness sake, of course I do.

Have you noticed that you don't even have to write anything in your post or show up in your chat room and you still get lots and lots of comments!

Edie said...

Just let me know when you're ready for the answers to these RQs.

Edie said...

11 comments and not one word from the blog administrator. Now that's leadership.

Edie,
A Branch Manager.
A Plant Manager.

Why did the second monkey fall out of the tree?

My ADHD Me said...

Sue J,
D and E don't have it so bad. A,B and C are always on display. D and E get a little bit of privacy. Of course poor F's nose must be flat by now. But I bet he sleeps the best.

God's Girl,
For Heaven's Sake! (Gee I bet you never heard that one before!)Stay away from the bubbles! They are addictive!

beverlydru,
I could tell some FF stories. It's allowed as long as we don't give out names or personal info. There are even some funny ones. Firefighters are known pranksters. I think you have to be a certain kind of person to deal with tragedy and death and then go get lunch. It's pretty solumn for a while but we can't dwell on it. You just can't of it would tear you apart. You have to make the victim the most important thing in your life for the moment and then you have to let go. And you have to go eat when you have the chance because you don't know what might happen in the next 5 minutes.
Also, there is an inspirational story about my first major car accident with a victim whose outcome looked grim. Then I saw an angel. I'll write about that soon.

Chatty Kelly- Thick as Pea Soup....or Clam Chowder.

Edie-You're just as well not knowing Pete. I met him once. Unimpressive.
Oh, and keep praying. Thanks.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to get caught up on reading all of your posts. I've been slacking.(reader's block?)

Edie said...

Excellent! Who says you can't do RQs?

Because he was tied to the first monkey.

How do monkeys get down the stairs?

Edie said...

Oh ... hope you're feeling better.

Kelly said...

Clearly Edie & ADHD have the same joke book. Do the rest of you think the jokes are dumb? Not that I do, no, not at all. (!)

Um, who writes a post with no words, *just the title and 2 pictures* and still gets 17 comments. HA!

GG - thanks for leaving me bubbles too. Not that I would get my feeling hurt or anything, I mean really, where would you get that idea??? :D

Sue J. said...

Of course, if 'F' is not a 'he,' then I question whether she is sleeping well and if something else isn't also flat.

And, actually, 'B' is flat in the key of F. (HA! HA! HA!.....oh, my!)

There is no such thing as "commenter's block" on your blog.

My ADHD Me said...

Edie- Nope, although if the first monkey did fall out of the tree and if he was tied to he...then he would fall so actually you could be right.
The answer I was looking for.."Monkey See, Monkey Do"
Oh, answer to your other RQ- They slide down the Bananaster. WHAHAHAHAHA

To Everyone-Chatty Kelly is the nicest person in the world. She is the most popular and we all love her the most. PLease don't forget that....(don't tell her I said this, but SLIGHT rejection issue)

Sue J...If F were a she, then she would be too busy to be sleeping all day. F is definitely a he.
(Bis flat in the key of F--That's Funny!)

God's Girl..Can't decide how to abbreviate your name. My 35 wpm typing skills (on a good day) make me use abbreviations when possible. Especially when apostrophes, spaces and capital letters are involved. I tried GG...sounds kind of 60's, but then again so does Heaven. (Which, by the way is a really cool name). I could write Heaven since we all know your name anyway. (no one knows Sue J's name because of the J, or Chatty Kelly's name because of the Chatty) SO sometimes you are GG, sometimes you are Heaven, sometimes you are God's Girls but never will you be Hey You. (bubble girl???...nah)

My ADHD Me said...

GG, God's Girl, Heaven- Oh by the way, I was joking when I said Edie was our real sister. Chatty Kelly, my REAL real sister (she's that little person you see in cartoons dressed in white and sitting on your right shoulder) said I shouldn't kid around like that because it was a lie and would confuse people (I thought all my posts confused people).Anyway, I was kidding. Anyway. Anyway, Edie is our blog sister that we met in the blogosphere.

My ADHD Me said...

I've written a lot of comments. That kind of counts as a post....right?

Kelly said...

Little person dressed in white on your shoulder. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

If that was completely true, you'd have gone to church with me 5 weeks ago. :D

Edie said...

Yes the second monkey WAS tied to the first monkey and the first monkey died which is why he fell out of the tree.

So why did the third monkey fall out of the tree?

Sue J - I think that's the first time I've heard you crack up like that and say unusual things (logical though they are). I'm worried about the affects this chat room is having on you. LOL. (kidding)

CK - What you don't like my jokes? :D It's ok, I still love you. Can you do better? ;)

Edie said...

GG - What ADHD-Jo said is true. I'm not a REAL sister. That's why I said I was grafted. Truth is I met CK first. Somehow, but I don't really remember how, I found my way over to CK's blog. I know it was a God appointed visit. It was about 11:30 pm (Central Time) on a Tuesday and she had a meme posted that I decided at the last hour to join in.
Read about it here:
http://chattykelly.blogspot.com/2008/08/tuesday-tips.html

Then read the next day's post here and my comments too:
http://chattykelly.blogspot.com/2008/08/good-idea.html

That is how I met CK and then the rest of these wonderful ladies. It has been one blessing after another with them. I mean that.

CK and ADHD-Jo are quite a team. I don't know if you've ever noticed it but they really compliment each other in everyones comment section. They are almost incomplete without each other. I mean that in a positive way. It's cute and funny all at once.

They are the BEST!

Edie said...

Not I met CK first before ADHD-Jo met her... Geeeez. I met her first before I met ADHD-Jo! For goodness sake! (or Heaven's sake but not Pete's sake cause he's unimpressive.)

My ADHD Me said...

Edie...Not for Heaven's sake. She may be who you were addressing, but she didn't cause you to get mixed up. Also, her parents were not hippies.
Glad you remembered about Pete....quite unimpressive indeed.
Also, are you sure it was around 11:30 when you met CK? I was thinking it was more like 11:00.

3rd monkey....peer pressure!

CK, I couldn't figure out why my laugh didn't look right. I had WHAHAHAHA--forgot the 1st A.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (much better)

My ADHD Me said...

At some point today I am going to read everyone's blog. I just keep doing stuff around the house and then every now and then check my own comments. How Selfish!
OK, I'm going to go reload the washer and dryer and then coming back to read.

Edie said...

Sounds like you have your priorities straight. I need to get mine straightend out a bit. Am cooking for the ladies at Safe Haven today. Yay! I love serving them. :)

Ok not Heaven's sake.

Not peer pressure (although, that might do it too.)
He thought it was a game.
WAHAHAHAHA!!

I'm still laughing at Sue J's joke about the "B" being flat in the key of "F". (and that she made herself LOL.) It's pretty funny when you surprise yourself like that. :D

Jeff and Valerie Carr said...

28 comments for a picture?...now THAT's talent....

Edie said...

Oh, yes I'm sure about the time cause I went and checked what time I posted my comment on her blog. That was 12:45 am EST. (Confused me for a minute since it didn't say EST.) I had actually started to write 11:00 but decided to go check (accuracy issues you know).

In any case it was well after CK went to bed I'm sure.

Today's chat room is giving me lots of ideas for alternate RQs. Just hope I can remember them when Friday roles around. ;)

Edie said...

Valerie - Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your naaame,
And their always glad you caaame.

My ADHD Me said...

Is that Edie...singing a TV series song??

Yes Ladies and Gentlemen...32 comments for a picture....please ignore the names on the comments as it may be realized they are all from the same group of people. Instead, just say..."WOW! 32 commments!"

OK, I've been reading other people's posts and got sidetracked. I'm going back now....as soon as I do that laundry!

Kelly said...

A better joke than a monkey joke. hmmmmm.

What starts with the letter E and ends with the letter E, but only one letter in it?

Kelly said...

What starts with T and ends with T and is filled with T?

Kelly said...

35 comments - I have comment envy. DON'T come leave me a bunch of random comments, that isn't the point.

Hey, I got my P31 magazine today -I am the centerfold article! Wahoo - I am a centerfold!!!!! Well, that just didn't sound right, did it? smirk.

But the article looks so dang pretty. I am going to create a PDF file of it, and put it on my blog. So stay tuned for further details.

Right on the riddles.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Barack Obama: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a change. The chicken wanted change.

John McCain: My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.

Hillary Clinton: When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure, right from Day 1, that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me.

George W. Bush: We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either for us or against us. There is no middle ground here.

John Kerry: Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am now against it. It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled about the chicken's intentions. I am not for it now and will remain against it.

Lou Dobbs: To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.

Al Gore: I invented the chicken!

Dick Cheney: Where's my gun?

Bill Clinton: I did not cross the road with THAT chicken.

A blog follower of mine has the funniest post today. It is based on teh ad that Ron Howard as Opie with Andy Griffith. If you haven't seen the mock ad, you can look for it on you tube. But read the bloggers comments - too funny - here...
http://gregsgeneralstore.blogspot.com/2008/11/its-scarry-out-there.html

And yes, this would be spam if I wasn't your sister and this wasn't a chat room. But I thought you'd appreciate this, and if I email you, you will never get it! SMILE

CK-
WAHAHAHAHAHAHA

My ADHD Me said...

CK, read the post you recommended. FUNNY!

Edie said...

Are you two enjoying yourselves alone in here? LOL

Yes I was singing an old tv series. It was called Cheers. Appropriate for in here don't you think? More like "Cheerful Heart Ministries". (I used to watch tv so I remember some of the old stuff. Not that I'm old mind you.)

CK - Centerfold!? WAHAHAHAHA I will refrain from all the little comments that just popped into my head. :D - Seriously I'm looking forward to seeing it so hurry up and get it posted! ... please.

The envelope and teapot really weren't much better than the monkeys, HOWEVER, that chicken joke cracked me up! WAHAHAHAHAHA.

41 comments (this will make it 42) on two small pictures. LOL.

Edie said...

Oh wait - my centerfold laughing could be taken the wrong way. Now I have a feeling I'm in one of those situations where I can only dig the hole deeper no matter what I say. Yikes! Trust me, I meant it as a compliment to your character!

My ADHD Me said...

Edie- You already know CK SO well. Good job on saving her feelings. Saved me some typing. lol
