30 X 5 (or was that 5 X 30?)


I'm In!!

It's the newest challenge at 2
nd Cup of Coffee.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO reason why I cannot move for 30 minutes, 5 times a week.....well, there is one reason....procrastination. Actually, there is more than 1 reason. In addition to procrastination, there is laziness, non-prioritizing, not writing it down (if it isn't on my list, it doesn't exist), and did I mention laziness?

AND, this isn't a lifetime commitment. 2 WEEKS! That's all she asks. Just 2 weeks. I think she's trying to trick us into starting a habit that will continue on after the 2 weeks are over. Pretty sneaky, eh?

Go on over to her blog and check it out. As for me, well, I'm off (I KNOW I KNOW, You already knew that!). ANYWAY, I'm off to go MOVE!!

I'm in too. Hey - you could come over and we could walk together and TALK?!?!?!?!??! Think about it. I could do it on Monday & Wed mornings. Or Friday we could walk after Bible study on the "track" at church. Woooo.

CK- As much as we talk, we should get double credit....all that talking takes energy!!

Call me later and we'll see if we can work it out. Hey, YOU could come over and we could walk here!! Around my block is exactly a half mile. At a regular pace it take about 10 minutes. 3 laps = 30 minutes. Been there, done that (well, not this year!!!)

I'm sensing a pattern here. Maybe I come to your house on Monday, and you come to mine on Wednesday? Meet at church Friday? I will call you. :-)

What a great thing!
I work out with a trainer three mornings a week, and it is most certainly the accountability that keeps me going. And now that you have made your intentions known to, um, the entire blogging world, I'd say you will have plenty of accountability, too!

Dirty trick I say, Dirty trick!! But I think I'm going to try it also. I'm in the middle of training for my very first 5k and I need the motivation.......insanity!
