Today is Tuesday. You Know What that Means!!!
Today is Tuesday.
You know what that means.
We're gonna have a special guest!!!!
So wiggle your ears
Like good Mousekateers.
Cause Tuesday is Guest Star Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have to say that this is the Number One WORST commercial, imho, of all time.
It became HUGE! Everyone was saying it and it was even made on t-shirts, mugs, etc.
UGH!!!!
To me it rates up there with "I've fallen, and I can't get up!
But, I try to invite a very large range of Special Guests, even one that may drive me crazy-er.
I have over a page of ideas but am not in the mood for any of those.
Leave me a comment if you want to see a favorite that I've never shown.
Commercials, Theme Songs, Songs, TV's, Movies...just about anything.
Have a great day and would someone please give that old lady a hamburger!!!

Oh I remember this! I thought it was hilarious.
What about Ernest? "Huh, Vern? Know-what-I-mean?"
The campaign was huge. Clara ?? became an overnight sensation of sorts. The president was quoting this. And Wendy's did have the better hamburger....
And the fact that it sticks with you 'til this day means it was an "effective campaign" per the advertising world.
Didn't hurt the Beef Council any either, I'm sure.
I love that commercial but I like the one better when she is driving

It was funny at the time, but not so much any more. This is my favorite commercial. It's in a foreign language, but it doesn't even matter, because the theme is universal!!!!

That was huge! I had forgotten about it but you couldn't turn around without someone saying that.
I think you're grand. Wittiness and brilliance run in your family.
See this pepsi commercial:

What a great compliment by Kurt (KW). Thanks!!! :-)
Hi monkey. Good to see the special guest again. Hope you are well.
Somehow I remember it being funnier back then. :)
I too put it up there with I've fallen and I can't get up. They are the two best commercials ever made. :) I love them.
It is rather interesting for me to read this post. Thanks the author for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to this matter. BTW, try to add some pics :).
