Top Five ....... Day Four

When United Airlines employees broke this man's Taylor guitar, he tried for a year to get them to pay to repair it. They refused. He even offered to accept flying time as payment. They still refused.

When he wrote this song to tell his story, he had no idea that it would be an overnight YouTube sensation. Of course United scrambled to make restitution after the song was so popular that CNN even ran a story on it....too little, too late.

The name of the song is United Breaks Guitars. The band is Sons of Maxwell. I especially liked one of the comments that was left on the clip......Guitar Breaks United.

Time for a "Where are they now?" feature on these guys. They still have a nice sound! But, do they have any other hits (in the music realm, not the YouTube realm)?

I remember this one... too funny. And the airline deserved every bit of their negative publicity.

I refuse to listen to this on the grounds that I will be singing it all day. TOO LATE! I remember the tune from last time and I am already humming "U-nited breaks guitars!" DRAT!

These guys really did a great job with this video.

Now I have to go catch up on the rest of the week.

Oh, I remember this one, too.
And I think it's hilarious that this guy took his complaint so far. Wish I was that creative. *grin*

I absolutely love this one. When my son came home Dec. 1 from CA, for a visit, he was going to book a United flight. I told him, "no, United breaks guitars." he was like, "what are you talking about" Haaahaahaa! It's all I could think of though. This is a very influential clip!
